Bachmann would reinstate US gay troops ban

“The ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy has worked very well,” she told CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“I would be in consultation with our commanders, but yes, I probably will” reinstate the ban, she added.”

I want to know what exactly she means by the DADT policy has worked well? Worked well doing what?

This story made me sick to my stomach – “Statistics show that roughly nine out of 10 are baby girls, which families may consider too costly to keep in a country where women frequently are not allowed to work.”  Once again, in a society where women and girls are not viewed as valuable – in fact, “Girls are seen as a burden”

I’m not sure if she remembers she is running for President of the United States, and not some other County.

{July 8, 2011}   Caylee’s Law

Fueled by verdict anger, push for ‘Caylee’s Law’ starts in Pa., N.J.

It is surprising that there is no law that already “requires” parents to notify the authorities when their child is missing. What is even more surprising is that there needs to be a law that requires parents to notify the authorities when their child is missing. Any person who is a parent or guardian of a child should have common sense to do this, unless they have something to hide.

NZ sexism row: EMA boss Alasdair Thompson sacked

“Alasdair Thompson of the Employers’ and Manufacturers’ Association made his comments on a radio show last month.

Mr Thompson said women were paid less than men because they took more sick leave and “have children they have to take time off to go home” to care for.”

The best part of this was his apology – he said he may sound sexist but it was true and a way of life. I don’t think that is an apology, just more of him expressing his lower view of women in general.

WOW…that’s all I am going to say. See for yourself:

Michele Bachmann Defends Medicaid Funds To Husband Marcus Bachmann’s Clinic

According to Michele Bachmann, the clinic provides, ”quality Christian counseling in a sensitive, loving environment,” which the head of the clinic believes “gays are ‘barbarians’ who need to be ‘educated, disciplined’” (See post below).

Ladies and gentlemen, I am sorry that I have to be the bearer of news that our hard-earned tax money is going towards a clinic that is homophobic and hypocritical.

Don’t just read the article – if you can listen/watch the video:
